Nothing speeds a dull Thursday along like some retro morbidity.  Behold a collection of untimely ends the characters of Resident Evil 2 met wholly for your enjoyment.  I miss the days where decapitations weren’t implied.

With increased resolution, touched up textures, exclusive files tying this installment to past and future releases, remastered music, and a budget of $1 million dollars, this N64 port of Resident Evil 2 is considered one of the best versions of the game released.  Housing more than 500 MB of data, RE2 is also one of heaviest N64 cartridges ever made.

And I fucking traded it in when I was twelve like an asshole.

I can’t even place myself in my own shoes back then, on that darkest of days.  What was my rationale?  “This is my favoritest game of all time…but it’s worth a whole four dollars.  What’re the chances I’ll want this ten years from now?  Who knows of any alternative way of gaining four whopping bucks besides selling my favorite fucking game?"  I wish I could Kyle Reese my way a decade back and scream into my past self’s stupid, pubescent face.
