Konami has officially announced their intention to bundle Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater with a custom designed 3DS console inspired by their upcoming handheld remake.  What?  You wanted details and pricing?  Konami laughs and says wait for January 20th.

If your panties bind at the very mention of animal cruelty, rest assured that the snake skin cover is merely an imitation.  Expect Konami to come under fire anyway for even bringing up the idea of skinning snakes (or eating them.)

The word is mum on when (or if) we might see the bundle stateside but the 3D reissue of Snake Eater is expected March.
