A-Kon 2013 (Dallas, TX): Gaming Cosplay Part III

That’s it, folks. This set tops off the collection of awesome gaming cosplay I encountered at this year’s A-Kon.  Much thanks go out to all who stopped by the Glitch Gaming Apparel booth this year and showed off their fantastic cosplay.

But it ain’t over, Herbians.  A-Kon is just one of many shows Glitch and I will be at which means I’ll be keeping a keen eye out for even more amazing video game cosplay.  Happen to be making it out to either Comic-Con San Diego or PAX Prime this year?  Welly, stop on by our booth and ask for Kevin (or simply look for the handsomest, four-eyed man you can find).

A-Kon 2013 (Dallas, TX): Gaming Cosplay Part II

Here’s another set of amazing cosplayers that visited us at the Glitch booth over the weekend.  As you can see, some of these get-up’s are mind blowing.

If you point your eyes to Robert and Rosalind Lutece up above, I’d like to touch on their commendable commitment to the cos-of-the-play.  Firstly, they were actually brother and sister.  Secondly, using the chalkboard and coin, they performed the entire “Heads or Tails” bit in character, word for word, and nailed it.  It’s one thing to dress up as your favorite character, it’s another thing entirely to channel them dead on.

Once again, a big ol’ Red Herb thanks to all that allowed me to stop them and take shitty camera phone snapshots.  More pics to come.

The Red Herb conquers Texas.  Well, a small quadrant of Texas.  And, well, not technically just The Herb – I’m working the Glitch booth, dishing out video game t-shirts where they’re needed most: near bloated wallets.

Seriously, though, having a good time meeting all sorts of folk and their wicked get-ups.  More pics incoming across the weekend.  I’m keeping an eye out solely on awesome gaming cosplay so if you’re in town and dressed to the nines, come on by and get a snapshot from a world famous photographer (the hell do you mean “Who?"  I mean me.)
