Pac-Man and An Overweight Mega Man Cosplayer Join the Fray!
All versions of Street Fighter X Tekken across Sony platforms are privy to a slew of exclusive characters. Microsoft’s version of the game is a bit lighter in the roster presumably because they’re iffy about signing contracts that don’t shove a Kinect down the consumer’s throat.
Therefore, expect Capcom and Namco to serve up their mascots Mega Man and Pac-Man, respectively, for the PS3 and Vita. Yes, this marks the triumphant return of Mega Man to a fighting game…where, uh, he belongs? But before Sony fanboys can scream utter dominance, know that there’s a catch:
The Blue Bomber we’ve grown accustomed to is replaced in SFxT by the Blue Palooka featured on the box art of the original Mega Man. This is like the end of a lazily written Outer Limits episode trying to teach me to be careful what I wish for.
