I applied The Red Herb to be a part of Capcom’s Press Center.

Instead of laughing my submission away, they concurred this was (somehow) a video game press outlet and approved.  Thanks, folks!  Probably not the biggest deal, just a cool little addition on top of an otherwise mentally and physically taxing day.

I’ve actually been a huge Capcom kid at heart – their titles being some of the first to introduce me to video gaming.  I know the true art lies in the hands of the developers and game designers, but for years, Capcom has had a knack for pooling together talent that churn out interestingly distinctive projects.

Typically I shy away from brand loyalty (games really have to make a good goddamn case for themselves the months leading up to a release for it to score my cash).  But if it’s a Capcom game, I’m liable to check it out even if it strays from my genre of choice.
